Come Get Your School-Assigned Books

If you attend an area junior high or high school, our library can help with your reading assignment.
For junior high school, come to our lower-level Youth Services Department or call 708.371.5666 x 140. For high school, contact 708.926.7024 or come to the first-floor Information Desk. If you have an Alsip-Merrionette Park Library card, you may also get it through our download services: http://www.alsiplibrary.info/ebooks-downloads

Not Too Late for Summer Reading

All ages can still sign up for the library's summer reading programs. Kids (through middle school) can sign up for "On Your Mark, Get Set, READ!" in the lower-level Youth Department. Students going into high school can sign up for "Get in the Game, READ!" at the first floor Information Desk. Adults can sign up for "Exercise Your Mind, Read!" Just get the materials through our library, and they count in our program through July 30. Don't miss out!

Food, Toy and Mitten Drive

We are once again collecting food and toys for area children in need! Through December 19, bring new, unwrapped toys and non-perishable food to the first-floor Information Desk. The middle-school TAG group is holding a Mitten Drive, so bring new warm hats, mittens, gloves and scarves to the Youth Services Department. We hope you enjoy your holiday!
